Pulling season ended for James Johnson on November 7 at the banquet held at Wood Grille and buffet located in Harrisionburg, VA.

Johnson pulled three tractors this season, but only placed at season's end with two.

During the banquet, Johnson was presented with a plaque and jacket for first place in the 1,200 pound class for his tractor, Southern Sample. A plaque for second place in the 1,400 pound class for his tractor, Mighty Moe. Third tractor Silver Shadow did not place. Johnson also received the sportsmanship award and best all-around member award.

This pulling season was a really wet one. Several pulls were either rained out or called because of it. Through it all, the State Fair finished all scheduled pulls. Johnson is now preparing for 2010.
